Hurley's Crossing is a town in central Nevada. Many of the people there work at Hawthorne Army Depot, which lies some distance to the north. It has a middle school and is near a river.

Kevin Bowman and his brother Duane grew up in Hurley's Crossing. Gears and Reverb both landed there, at a farmhouse near a river, and were encountered by Kevin as he bicycled home from his friend's house. After Gears defeated Reverb and left the Decepticon lying broken over an old tractor, he and Kevin headed north towards the army depot. A NEST team, including Ratchet and Bumblebee later found Reverb there, and he conned them into thinking he was a Decepticon defector. Switching Gears
