Energon mace
| This article is about Megatron's melee weapon. For human from Star Wars, see Mace Windu. |

Although the fusion cannon is Megatron's more notable weapon, the leader of the Decepticons has many others. Among the more infamous weapons of his is the Energon mace.
Strangely, he only seems to use it when he is fighting Optimus Prime on a particular dam.

Heroes of Cybertron
When the Super Collection Figure series was imported to become Hasbro's Heroes of Cybertron line, the figures were all cast entirely in translucent colored plastic, then painted over, save for the eyes and a small patch on the back of their heads, giving them all a light-piping gimmick. Unlike the Japanese figures, they were sold in individual blister packaging, with character profile cards.
- Megatron with Plasma Weapon (2002)
- This second-wave Heroes of Cybertron release of the chase figure from the first Super Collection Figure wave was a little different from its Japanese progenitor, lacking its metallic paint. His mace is called a plasma weapon this time.
MyClone

- Megatron (MyClone, 2003)
- Accessories: Clear display base, energon mace
- A chase variant of MyClone Megatron was available in the same wave along with his standard figure. Cast entirely in colorless clear plastic, this version of Megatron came with an energon mace, which could be exchanged for his fist. Thanks to the modular MyClone design, the mace can easily attach to the standard Megatron figure as well.
Notes
- Although Megatron's weapon is called a mace, a weight attached by a chain or a hinge to a handle is usually called a flail.
