Hearts of Steel
The combatants in the Ice Age Wars fought brutally and tirelessly in the increasingly hostile environment. Eventually fighting became impractical as the local temperatures continued to drop and reserves of fuel ran low. Both sides found underground shelters where they powered-down, hidden from their enemies, waiting for the climate of the planet to change.
Thousands of years later, representatives from both camps were awakened to find conditions much more favorable for fighting on the planet the local population called Earth. Hearts of Steel issue 1
