Dreamwave comics continuity

Dropshot is an Autobot stationed on Cybertron with Jetfire, and accompanies him to the Decepticon HQ to investigate a space bridge anomaly above Cybertron, but is subsequently destroyed by Bludgeon. He is seen again ten years later while the Terrorcons seige Earth.

(As he is both introduced and slain in the same issue, it can be inferred that he was created by Simon Furman for the sole purpose of being cannon fodder.)
