Notes of interest
- The book notes that as The Fallen absorbs energy, he grows stronger and stronger.
- The Twins pursue Sideways in their "upgraded" forms, not the ice cream truck.
- Optimus Prime defeats "Demolisher" together with Ironhide. In the daytime!
- Rampage, who isn't named, is absolutely huge.
- The Fallen is defeated by being "thrown into space." Considering that the movie has Optimus engage The Fallen in a brutal fight, tear off the Fallen's face, then crush the Fallen's very spark the change is pretty understandable.
- When released in the United Kingdom, this book was combined with Rise of the Decepticons to make one book containing two stories.
