Vortex is a Decepticon from the live-action film continuity family.

Vortex is... orange! When his sonic saber and triple blaster aren't enough to deal with the Autobots, he calls upon his FIST OF DESTRUCTION to dole out some pain.

His vehicle mode is equipped with minigun cannons, and can also fire neutrino pulses. Furthermore, it is evidently capable of generating cyclones.

• Vortex (2007)

A 29-point "uncommon" character in the 3D Battle-Card Game, Vortex "transforms" into an orange helicopter. He uses the same parts layout as Blackout, Evac and Whirl.

Notes

• Vortex's continuity family was revealed on the Wizard of the Coast forums.
• While he is named Vortex, the character heavily resembles the Energon character Stormcloud. A similar situation occurred with his fellow Energon Wars character Blitzwing, but unlike Blitzwing, Vortex's card abilities do not seem to be based on any particular pre-existing character. Of course, to be fair, Stormcloud doesn't actually HAVE any bio information...
