During an island-wide panic induced by Huxley Prescott reporting an alien invasion, Perkins rang the fire station to report that moon people were eating his corn. Graham Burns and Boulder went to investigate in time to see the panicked Mr Perkins leap out of the corn field, announcing that "they" were coming. The aliens in question turned out to be Mr Buffkin's cows. He later tried to evacuate the island, but missed the ferry and was almost run down by an enthusiastic driver.
