Lipole are aliens in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Lipole are small flying bat-like creatures, apparently native to Jupiter's moon of Io. They can transform into explosive missiles and fling themselves at predators.

Blurr and Wheelie crashed on Io while bringing Metroplex's transformation cog to Earth. A swarm of Lipole attacked them. Marissa Faireborne went to investigate the crash, but when she arrived on Io, the Lipole transformed into missile mode and destroyed her ship. Sky Lynx rescued Blurr, Wheelie, and Marissa.
