...named in 2010? -Derik 00:45, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Complete thoughts, please! I have no idea what you're talking about. --ItsWalky 01:08, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- If I were to venture a guess, I think Derik's asking if the name Lipole comes from the Japanese version (2010). Actually its in the English version, but only in the recap narration at the begining of FFOD part 5. --KilMichaelMcC 01:25, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Mightn't they be Cybertronian in origin though?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.235.235.104 (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
I mean, they Transform, complete with the little "Cha! Cho-cho-cho" sound.--Octopus Prime- King of the Road! 01:57, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Is "Lipole" actually meant to be the plural form too?--Apcog 03:28, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
I know no one has looked at this page for years, but is it possible that "Lightpole" is a mangled "Goldenrod"? "Golden" could be interpreted as "Light" and "Pole" isn't too far off from "Rod". Nuclearxpotato (talk) 15:35, 11 February 2019 (EST)
- I kind of doubt it. The name "Goldenrod" wouldn't really make much sense either, and it's not like the script was translated from a foreign language. For whatever reason, Lightpole seems to have been the original intent. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 16:42, 11 February 2019 (EST)
