- Snarl is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Classics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Snarl is a member of the Predator Attack Team, a trio of vicious robotic hunting animals who are always on the prowl.

The Predator Attack Team were among Mini-Cons created by the Last Autobot to clean up Cybertron so that the Autobots could return home, and their vicious, downright psychopathic personalities made them perfect for the job of destroying the Mutants of the Underworld. During one outing with Broadside, Snarl fought with the Mutant Meathook, though he was disappointed when his stoic teammate Dreadwing delivered the final blow before he could have any fun. After laughing at the sight of Overbite playing with the remains of another victim, he was met by the Dinobots and was taken aback by their leader's confidence. The New World

- Snarl transforms into a robotic tiger. He was only available as part of the Predator Attack Team, part of the second wave of Classics Mini-Cons, packaged with his teammates Dreadwing and Overbite.
- This mold was also used to make Apexus, Shattered Glass Rampage, Universe Snow Cat and Dark of the Moon Catilla.
