Perkins was at Grissom Air Force Base when Colonel Lennox called for volunteers to go on a mission into Decepticon-occupied Chicago. He was on the same Osprey as Lennox and Zimmerman, and when Zimmerman, wearing a wingsuit, proclaimed himself "Batman", Perkins suggested he was Rocky, the flying squirrel instead. Perkins survived the wingsuit jump and later went on to fight against the Decepticons. Dark of the Moon
