When Cybertron went dark, Wheeljack began traveling the stars alone in the Jackhammer.
Eventually, Wheeljack reached Earth's Solar System and was hailed by the Autobots stationed there, including Bulkhead. As he was coming in to land at the coordinates provided by Optimus Prime, the Jackhammer was attacked and shot down by Vehicons somewhere over what would appear to be Egypt.
After Wheeljack defeated his Doppelgänger, the Jackhammer was repaired and though the Autobots welcomed Wheeljack to stay, he revealed that he intended to return to space. He invited Bulkhead along, but Bulkhead was too attached to his friends on Earth to leave. Bulkhead was sure he'd return someday... Con Job
While searching the galaxy, Wheeljack found Seaspray only for the other Wrecker's ship to be destroyed. He chased the culprit, Dreadwing to Earth. After a firefight, Wheeljack flew the Jackhammer to the Autobot base, where it was concealed in a cave atop the mountain. Wheeljack and Bulkhead later used it when they went to try and hunt down Dreadwing. Loose Cannons

- Star Hammer with Wheeljack (Cyberverse Vehicle)
- Accessories: Two swords, two missiles, forward gun
- This Action set of the Star Hammer unfolds into a battle platform by sliding back the seat-shaped tab on its stern, which automatically folds out the ship's wings and elevates two large spring-loaded cannons into position. The cannons are operable in both modes, but in battle platform mode, feature flip-down handlebars that allow other Cyberverse figures to man them. The ship features an opening cockpit that can seat the included Wheeljack figure or any other Cyberverse figure of an appropriate size. The ship is decorated with numerous 3mm holes to hold Cyberverse weaponry, and even a few 5mm holes for good measure.
- In addition to its auto-transforming feature, the Star Hammer is built around its electronic "Energon Booster": an accessory attached to the body of the ship by a length of flexible wire which lights up with a green LED when the Autobot symbol on the ship's body is pressed. Equipped with several 3mm ports and posts, the booster can plug into any of the holes on the ship: in particular, it can mount behind the ship's cockpit to illuminate the translucent blue (removable) gun mounted there, or, in a feature not mentioned in the toy's instructions, it can snap into the rear of either of the two missile launchers and light them up. The booster can also plug into and illuminate any Commander-class figures and their weaponry.
