- Rescue Force Sigma-17 is an Autobot subgroup from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Rescue Force Sigma-17 is a small team of Rescue Bots. These Autobots were part of the larger Rescue Bot sub-group that left Cybertron sometime before the planet's death. Now, in the post-Cybertron era, they may very well be the last Rescue Bots in existence. Members include:

Rescue Force Sigma-17 was placed in stasis for unknown reasons and wandered aimlessly through space for an unspecified length of time until they were awakened by Optimus Prime's summons to travel to Earth. After arrival, Optimus Prime repurposed the team into the Rescue Bots. Family of Heroes

After the Rescue Bots were fired by the Griffin Rock city council, Heatwave attempted, but failed, to contact Optimus Prime to request reassignment for Rescue Force Sigma-17. The Rescue Bots were later reinstated. The Reign of Morocco
