Specific locations in and around the city included S. Witwicky Auto Repairs & Tow Service, the corporate headquarters of Blackrock Enterprises, Blackrock Motor Speedway, Blackrock Chronic Care Institute, Jake Lomax's estate, Forbes's Garage, a ballet school, Mister O's, and the suburb of St. Petersburg.

Notes
- It rains a lot in the Portland area, yet the inhabitants are almost always seen to be enjoying clear skies in Transformers. Perhaps rain is just a nuisance to draw.
- Portland is widely considered to be the greenest, meaning sustainable, city in the United States, and possibly the second-greenest in the world.
- Sun-bleached rock formations and dusty desert roads are in short supply in lush, heavily-forested river valleys.
- The dream of the 90s is (still) alive there.
