Gabu transforms from a robot horseshoe crab into a... twin-bladed thing. He comes as an unassembled, unpainted "kit" on sprues, with customer-applied foil stickers for deco. He has multiple 5mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron play pattern, allowing him to be combined with other Mini-Cons to form bigger and more ridiculous weapons. However, he is specially designed to form the tip of the "Super Combo Weapon" Dark Matter Calibur with Bog and Dai.

• "Gabu" is derived from kabutogani, the Japanese word for horseshoe crabs.
• Gabu, Bog and Dai were available earlier than the rest of the AMW series, but only at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair Summer '12 in Fukuoka, Japan, on June 30 and August 1. Purchasing all three also granted the buyer a free Firebolt Clear Yellow Version.
