When the Transformers caused their first ruckus upon waking up in 1984, Nicholas hoped it wasn't "that big green, fire-snortin' lizard" again. Prisoner of War!
It doesn't appear that the two ever actually looked into what was going on in Oregon at all. Or if they did, they sure didn't do anything about it.

- Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II featured a crossword clue "Big green, fire-snortin' lizard that menaces Col Fury", filling out the rest of Nicholas's name and rank.
- The answer to the clue was "Godzilla".
- Col. Fury has been voiced by a few Transformers voice actors, such as Jack Angel in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Jim Byrnes in X-Men: Evolution, David Kaye in the game Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Gerardo Vásquez who did his Latin American Spanish voice for all of his appearance on the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
