Seaspray is a member of the Wreckers who fought alongside Wheeljack and Bulkhead. The latter Wrecker lovingly calls Seaspray "ol' Barnacle Butt."

During Wheeljack's travels, Seaspray came into contact with his former comrade, who arranged a meeting with him. However, the Decepticon Dreadwing rigged Seaspray's ship with explosives and blew it up, killing Seaspray in the process. Seaspray's death motivates Wheeljack into hunting down Dreadwing.
