Vortex is a Decepticon. Along with the other Combaticons, he can form Bruticus Maximus.

Vortex transforms from a Cybertronic attack helicopter into a robot. He can also combine with his fellow Combaticon warriors to form Bruticus. The toy has been shown in two different color schemes, the gold and red color seen to the right for the SDCC version, and a mostly light red and bright purple color scheme seen in pictures where he is joined to Bruticus for retail.
