TV-Loonland is a German brand management company. In 2000, Loonland acquired Sunbow Productions from Sony Wonder and subsequently became the master license holder of several Hasbro television series, including The Transformers and G.I. Joe , as well as the Japanese Transformers spin-off series The Headmasters, Super-God Masterforce and Victory. Soon afterwards, Loonland purchased UK DVD distributor Metrodome.

On May 14, 2008, it was reported that Hasbro had reacquired the worldwide distribution rights of several television series featuring their characters from TV-Loonland for a total $7 million USD.[1]

In 2010, TV-Loonland came into severe financial trouble, with their stock plummeting to an all-time low it still hasn't recovered from as of 2011. Presumably, their selling back the rights to Sunbow's back catalog to Hasbro for such a (relatively) low sum two years earlier was a desperate attempt to garner quick money.
