The Citadel is a building from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Citadel is Zeta Prime's seat of government in Iacon. It contains the Primacy Auditorium and training rooms for the Autobot security forces.

During a Decepticon assassination attempt on Zeta Prime, the Citadel's communications were scrambled by Soundwave, but Blurr reached the building before the assassins and warned Zeta in time. Spotlight: Blurr Zeta Prime later met with the Senate in the Primacy Auditorium to unveil his plan to use vamparc ribbons against the Decepticons and other insurgents. Parasites The Citadel was later raided by the new alliance between Orion Pax and Megatron. They destroyed Zeta Prime in the process.Overthrown

Afterwards, Megatron took control of the Citadel. Rise

Optimus Prime and his new comrades attacked the Citadel against the Decepticons for control of Cybertron. Broadcast During the battle, Megatron used a "vamparc annihilator" on the top of the Citadel to try to take out the Autobot forces. The Autobots called on Metroplex, who took out both the cannon and the Citadel. After the battle, he became the new Iacon capital and transformed into city mode over the ruins of the Citadel. Endgame
