- The Galamen and Great Galamen are Decepticon warrior drones from the Battlestars portionof the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Galaman and Great Galaman army are a troop of dispensible drone warriors conjured up by Dark Nova to plague the Autobots. The Galamen drones aren't very powerful or smart, but there are a lot of them, and they often wear down their enemies due to their sheer numbers. The "Great" Galamen are slightly more powerful (and shiny) models, though they still bear the same success-rate as the regular variety.

After Dark Nova resurrected Galvatron as Super Megatron, the Galamen army along with the Novaroid army were used as the bulk of the Decepticons military forces. The Galamen were eventually upgraded into Great Galamen. Once Dark Nova was killed in the destruction of Star Giant, the Great Galaman forces were never heard from again.
