Optimus Prime (BS)

Optimus Prime is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.

The Autobot hero Optimus Prime loves competing against others as long as the fight is fair. He is known to cloak himself to avoid weaker opponents and use his launcher to take on the strong ones.

Part of the first wave of Bot Shots, Optimus Prime is a teeny little longnosed semi truck with "trailer", with a spring-loaded automatic transformation to robot mode triggered when his front bumper is pressed. He has a "spinner" in his chest that shows his three attack types and power levels. His truck mode and robot body are influenced by the live-action Optimus Prime, while his head is taken from the original.

This mold was also used to make Nemesis Prime.

A slight redeco of the individually-carded Optimus (this version appears to have darker blue paint), this version of Optimus comes with a large trailer that pops open to form a battle station with a spring-loaded launching platform.

This version of Optimus is a multi-pack release of the Optimus Prime Launcher. It is unknown at this time what differences —if any—there are between this and the prior versions of the figure or launcher.
