Part of a six-figure "preview" wave of Micro-Changer Kreons, Crankstart is a blindpacked bagged mini-figure. He comes with extra parts which help him form a dunebuggy (sorta).

His helmet is also used by the Autobot Trooper, Brawl, Silverbolt, and Springer.

His torso armor, originally from the Battleship Kre-O series, is also used by Airachnid, Bludgeon, Bonecrusher, Brawl, Dirge, Galvatron, Insecticon, Mixmaster, Rampage, Razorclaw, Scavenger, Singe, Warpath, and Waspinator.

His smokestacks are also used by one of the Autobot Troopers, Onslaught, Optimus Prime (2011 version) and Scrapper.

His wheels are also used by Optimus Prime (2011), Galvatron, Inferno, Hook, Mixmaster, Onslaught, Scrapper, Singe, Swindle, and one of the Vehicons.

His gun is also used by Blast Off, Bluestreak, Bumblebee, Divebomb, Fireflight, Hook, Jazz, Mirage, Prowl, Quickslinger, Ratchet, Scavenger, Swindle, Waspinator, and Wheeljack.

Notes

• Crankstart's CG model shows him without his torso armor and "windshield" pieces.
• Crankstart's helmet was originally designed for a Kreon based on Hound, which had been shown off at several events, but to this date, no actual Hound Kreon has been released or even officially announced.
