Outside linking

Abates, how do I tell if an image or redirect has an outside/off-site link pointing to it? I want to delete [[:Image:LiveActionJazz-Skywarp01.jpg|this]], but it's pretty old, so I don't know if there might be any links to it. I used to use Yahoo siteexplorer to find links to pages, but Yahoo shut it down now because they're using Bing's database. Now I generally just google the url or just the article/image name to try and find links to it, which isn't ideal. Hey, could you fill out the articles for Tlalak and Brobdingnag (plus Aagar and Chief Lanarqan, I guess)? It's been bugging me that all of the other G1 cartoon planets except those have filled-out articles. I would do it, but I don't really have access to any of the G1 episodes with captions. Apparently you did not read your talk page. There are multiple issues with the images you have been uploading and you need to read this page here which explains that images need to have non-generic names - you uploaded an image called "jolt.jpg", but there are six different characters named Jolt. You must also provide a proper description and copyright templates for each image. Uploading them with no description is not helpful - you uploaded this picture of Thundercracker without saying which issue it was from or who drew it. --abates 17:31, 12 March 2012 (EDT)

CCs spell them as "Mr. Bufkin" and "Mrs. Prewett". Other townspeople names from the episode are spelled "Mr. Perkins", "Milo", "Mrs. Niederlander", and "Mr. Pettypaws" (her cat). And, the spelling for device Cody got in the Flobsters episode is "Comtab" (or maybe "ComTab"? It's spelled as one word, but the CC letters are in All Caps, making it difficult to tell what should and shouldn't be capitalized). --Sabrblade 09:32, 18 March 2012 (EDT)

I usually say when I add them, but generally from one of the websites which carry TV schedules - msn.com, zap2it.com and tvguide.com mainly. In the case of the last two episodes, they were from zap2it. --abates 21:02, 10 April 2012 (EDT)

Merely saying

How come the IDW sections are usually the least updated? Everything else is updated occasionally like when Transformers Prime releases a new episode, everything is updated instantly the next day but when a new IDW comic comes out, nobody updates everything even within a week? Some articles are still behind. I'm merely asking this and don't mean it in any offensive way. Schools Out! Scream and Shout! Ed

Yeah, the Wiki's really more about the quality of information than how quickly it's updated. And considering how arc-y the writing of the ongoings is, often it's better to wait until after an arc is over before adding a summary because what was once believed may not have been as it seems. You didn't look to see what {{IDWliveactionfilmcover/franchise}} actually did before you made this change, did you? This part of the {{IDWliveactionfilmcover}}:
