- Scorponok is a Decepticon from the Kre-O continuity family.
Scorponok has plans. Oh, he has plans. Always thinking ahead, he is.
His main goal in life is to rule the Decepticon Kreons with an iron... uh, claw. Just you wait. He'll be in charge and he's gonna have the biggest throne ever! Even Galvatron will have to bow to his superiority![1]

Kre-O cartoon
Spinister, Galvatron and Scorponok were sent by Megatron to rob the Autobot City Bank. In heavy disguise, they went in and got the drop on the bank tellers, only for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Wheeljack to turn up. The Decepticons called in Devastator, who ripped the roof off the bank and disposed of the three Autobots. Scorponok subsequently cracked open the safe and passed the energon inside to Spinister for delivery to Megatron. Quest for Energon, Part 1

- Part of a six-figure "preview" wave of Micro-Changer Kreons, Scorponok is a blindpacked bagged mini-figure. He comes with extra parts which help him form a crude scorpion form.
- He uses Sideswipe's helmet and Vortex's body armor. His claws and "insect legs" come from the Battleship sets; the claws come from the alien Kreons, while his "legs" are rifle supports, which are also used for Waspinator's insect legs.
