- Firebot is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Classics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Firebot is a member of the Night Rescue Team.
Fiction
Classics
Along with his Mini-Con brethren, Firebot was created by the Last Autobot to clean up the ravaged planet Cybertron in time for the Autobots' return. The Night Rescue Team came to the rescue when an energon refinery suddenly exploded, and Firebot courageously rushed into the flaming inferno to look for survivors. After carrying one Mini-Con out, he immediately went back in, and thus missed the drama regarding a crazed Autobot supposedly having caused the explosion.
Firebot and his fellow team members were subsequently invited by Hacksaw to a meeting to discuss the accident, but he didn't add much to the conversation. Following the meeting, the Night Rescue Team was ordered to keep watch and organize cleanup alongside Knockdown and Terrorsaur.
When it turned out that Broadside had orchestrated the accident in an attempt to keep the Autobots away from "their" world, a riot broke out among the Mini-Cons. Firebot fired his powerful water cannons at Broadside, but they were deflected by Wide Load. The New World

- Night Rescue Team (Mini-Con three-pack, 2006)
- Part of the first wave of Classics Mini-Cons, Firebot transforms into a Rosenbauer Oshkosh Striker 1500 fire truck with twin cab-mounted water cannons. He is available only in a three-pack with his teammates Divebomb and Strongarm.
- This mold was also used to make Suppressor and Buckshot.
Notes
- The original plan for the Classics Mini-Cons was as part of the Cybertron-setting Mini-Con 2-packs. Firebot (then "Knockdown") was to be paired with the Decepticon Mini-Con "Terrorsaur", who apparently became the Autobot Dinobot Terrorsaur.
