Talk:Jungle Planet (colony)
From MediaWiki
Jungle Planet in Energon? Neat. Hmm. There was also a Velocitron-like racetrack planet. Man, is that ever tempting to anybody who really really wants there to be more continuity. -Autobus Prime 21:17, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, Circuit Planet got destroyed during Energon, so there's no way it was Velocitron. Alpha Q's Jungle Planet survived Energon, but I'd think that system was probably the first to get swallowed up by the black hole.
- Say, should this article be moved to have a (Cybertron) suffix, or stay without out it owed to its far greater prominence? --KilMichaelMcC 21:24, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Naming
Was there ever a reason given why this one, unlike the others, didn't get a proper name? - SanityOrMadness 21:51, 25 September 2009 (EDT)
Animatron? What? Is that just from the AllSpark Almanac? Why would that trump its actual name(s) from the originating franchise for the article's title? --KilMichaelMcC 13:54, 16 September 2011 (EDT)
- Well, I didn't move it and am fairly ambivalent, but Cybertron gave us Velocitron the Speed Planet, Gigantion the Giant Planet, and <-BLANK-> the Jungle Planet. It always stood out as odd, even at the time, and the Almanac filled the obvious hole. - Chris McFeely 14:41, 16 September 2011 (EDT)
- Yeah, Jungle Planet was always the one WITHOUT a name. Always bugged me. --ItsWalky 14:57, 16 September 2011 (EDT)
- The same way "Sentinel Prime" trumps "U-Haul Robot". —Interrobang 13:05, 18 September 2011 (EDT)
Should this one still have a dissambiguation for Jungle Planet?? --BlackStarscream 17:23, 10 December 2012 (EST)
- Yes. And the JP disambig page should note that the JP from Cybertron was also called Animatron. -Derik 18:13, 10 December 2012 (EST)
