He uses his brain module to aim at targets at a distance, yet he wants to remove it entirely to add another cannon on his head. Many Autobots who face him are lucky his imagination and intelligence aren't equal to his firepower.

Toys
Transformers (2007)

- Gunbarrel (Scout)
- Accessories: Dual cannon/radar Energon weapon (combiner foot/hand), Decepticon-style Energon star
- Part of the canceled[1] fifth wave of Target exclusive Movie series Scouts along with Backtrack and Reverb, Gunbarrel is a redeco of the Energon Blight/Kickback sculpt, transforming into an anti-aircraft tank similar to a Gepard. He could also have formed the arm or leg to any Energon combiner team super robot — though no super robot torsos actually came out during the original live-action movie toyline, and his packaging makes no mention of the toy's ability to combine.
- He includes a dual cannon/radar accessory that formed a hand or footplate for his non-advertised limb-modes, plus a greenish-blue Decepticon-style Energon star that can attach to most Energon toys.
- In early 2010, about two years after the first samples had surfaced, considerable quantities of the three unreleased Scouts were sold on eBay. Each of them came packaged with two instruction sheets, one in English and one in Spanish, suggesting that the batch was initially intended for the Mexican market. However, based on information from Mexican fans, the toys never actually made it to retail there.
- This sculpt was also used to make the Fun Publications Transformers Collectors' Club-exclusive toy Landquake and Universe (2008) Bruticus Maximus team members Blast Off and Brawl who double as Revenge of the Fallen Blast Off and Brawl.
Notes
- Gunbarrel's toy was first acknowledged on Hasbro's Transformers Action Figure Checklist.[2]
