"Objective journalism is one of the main reasons American politics has been allowed to be so corrupt for so long. You can't be objective about Nixon." - H.S. Thompson

Derik talks a good game, but he's really a big softy that goes all squooshy inside at the sight of kittens or Emo Boys kissing.

They're not just doing it for attention!

Derik can't spell woth a danm. Did you know Mozilla 2.0 has MS Word-style spell check on textarea boxes?

Feel free to yell at him on AIM: ReGenesis0

Things not to message Derik about: (culled from actual conversation)

  • "I just sent an e-mail to the executive producer telling him what he needs to do better."
  • "Did you delete my post?"
  • "I had drunken sex with another dude at a furry convention in Canada, what do I do?"

He's also apparently a Mut-Org, whatever the hell that is.

Episode article style

Do we have a definative established style for the episode entries? Lately I've been editing the Armada ones to reflect the look of the new G1 episode articles. Also, I think the RID episodenav looks abit cluttered and would rather if it was just 'Preceeded by [episode number and name/link] Suceeded by [episode number and name/link]. --FFN 02:49, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Cluttered in what manner? 'prev episode' and 'next episode' being too close together? I agree they could use some air. -Derik 06:44, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, they were abit too close together. Needed to be more clearly seperated.

Re: Pics from other sites

If you admittedly borrow pics from other sites, particularly if its their own photography, please leave a link to the site on the image's page, just for some consistency when we wiki users borrow pics. --FFN 06:07, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Don't just credit, link, gotcha.
I appreciate the tangley ethical implications, and I try to avoid gloming others' pictures unless there's a compelling reason for it- especially TFU since their pictures are their content to a greater degree. In this case they had just the angle on Blastcharge I needed.  ;-) -Derik 06:18, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
