Blur Studio is a 3D animation and visual effects company based in California. It was founded in 1995. Work by Blur Studio include animated shorts such as "In the Rough" and "Gopher Broke", the latter of which was nominated for an Oscar. They also created game trailers and cinematic for games including Batman: Arkham City, Dragon Age: Origins, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Mass Effect 2. In the movie world, they've provided special effects for the likes of James Cameron's Avatar and the title sequence to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Blur Studio are responsible for the cinematic cut scenes from Transformers The Game and the opening cinematic from War for Cybertron.
