Microman

Microman (also known as Micronauts) is one of two Takara toy lines (the other being Diaclone) from which the original Transformers toys came. It is a descendant, strangely enough, of Hasbro's own G.I. Joe toyline.

Takara still continues this toy line, and seems to add at least one new series to it each year, as well as doing non-original character figures, like Evangelion's Rei and Asuka, and even Batman.

The most recent versions have prided themselves on "Full Action Bodies"(30+ points of articulation).

Surprisingly, even some of the more recent Mircoman figures can use the older Microman accessories, including Megatron's gun accessories, when formed into a gun turrent.
