Haruna
| This article is about the crazy announcer girl with a duck bullhorn. For the actress, see Haruna Ikezawa. |
- Haruna is a character from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Haruna (ハルナ) is the announcer for the World Fighters show and the assistant/co-anchor to Mujō. Energetic to the point of hyper-activity, she tends to unintentionally beat the stuffing out of Mujō in her excitement over upcoming matches.
She comments on the in-progress fights using a bullhorn shaped like a duck. God knows why, but she uses it when announcing in the studio, too. Agh.

As part of DreamMix TV's attempt to pull in more ratings for the television show World Fighters, it was structured to feature battles between extraordinary beings. Haruna was the announcer for these amazing matches.
At one point during a break between fights, Haruna performed a flying spiral punch that knocked Mujō to the ground! She then spoke excitedly to the audience, then briefly paused to wonder where her co-anchor was. After seeing him crumpled on the floor, she commented warily to herself and continued, saying the next fight would be two-on-one!
After Mujō recovered, he began speaking to the audience once again, but found that Haruna had disappeared! Just then, a giant disco ball dropped from the ceiling with Haruna hanging from it, who began speaking with the audience herself. Suddenly, the rod on the disco ball broke, sending both the ball and Haruna onto Mujō, flattening him! With swirly eyes and duckies a-floating around her head, the dizzied Haruna finished the announcement for the next match before falling over backwards.
Once Mujō recovered again, he began pacing back and forth, concerned about the final match. This sent Haruna into hysterics, and she began crying! Mujō attempted to console her, which gave her an idea — an idea that baffled Mujō, who thought her opponent count was off. Haruna then revealed that the Hige-Hige Bandits had prepared a flying saucer for him, and declared that he would be the final opponent! She then kicked Mujō into the air, landing him upside-down in the pilot's seat of the saucer. He could only pound against the cockpit glass as his "stage" was set up! Haruna then announced Mujō's entry into battle, and wished him good luck as the saucer rose into the air!
Mujō lost, of course, and Haruna was not seen again. DreamMix TV World Fighters
Notes
- Unlike everyone else in DreamMix TV World Fighters, Haruna does not hail from any pre-existing franchise, having been created specifically for this game.
- There appear to be no personalized character endings for DreamMix TV World Fighters, meaning the interstatials starring Mujō and Haruna make up the entirety of the game's "plot".
- Technically, Haruna can be heard after the credits finish rolling to give the player their game rank. Presumably this appearance doesn't count in "story" terms.
- Seriously, girl be crazy.
