Primal Vanguard
The Primal Vanguard is a Transformer organization concerned with off-Cybertron peacekeeping. The races it peacekept tended to be organics, who tended to get squished (literally) very soon into a fight.
It dates back to Nova Prime's day and its members have built-in weapons as part of their anatomy.

The Vanguard had its best days under the command of the legendary Delta Magnus. During the Interregnum, after Nova Prime went missing, the Guardians looked after the Matrix of Leadership until a new Prime could be found.

In their better days, the Dynobots had been members of the Primal Vanguard. Rage By the time of the Clampdown, the Vanguard had gone downhill. The organisation was mired in the "Phobos Controversy" and at one point an ex-Vanguard member was responsible for a shooting in Apophenia. Shadowplay, Part 1: Post Hoc Ironfist, however, continued to study and fangasm about the Delta Magnus days, filling his workspace with Vanguard artifacts and writing monographs about them.
