Trivia
- "Unit:E" was a 2011 SDCC comic book by Hasbro featuring characters from Jem, Micronauts, M.A.S.K. and other series, including a minor tie-in to Transformers. Hasbro taking out the rights on the name in a variety of areas was the first hint to fans that some sort of crossover property was planned.
- Given that Fowler has called on Sky Strikers (G.I.Joe) and M.A.S.K. vehicles his connection to a crossover property is rather appropriate.
- The titular "Unit:E" was a mysterious team detailed in the issue. They are a group of explorers who investigate the "Eerie, the Else, the Eternities of Infinity." (Great work if you can get it.) They operate from a "phase station" called Skybolt that exists "in the slipstream" outside of the normal space-time continuum. Undetectable there, they protect reality from the outside. While it is unknown if Fowler's Unit:E is the same group, he DOES have their exact insignia on his door.
- The Author's note on the back cover of the book states that the 80s toy/cartoon property Centurions was Easter Egged inside. "Sky Vault" was the Space Station from which the Centurions operated and the visual of Unit:E's phase station seems pretty close.
