Synopsis

A spaceship arrives in Earth's solar system, and a teenager is awoken from a cryogenic chamber by his crew-mates, Biotron and Synergy. Though confused at first, the teen has a flashback to his father handing him an uplink to Synergy and telling him it will be important. Regaining his bearings, the teen asks his companions of their whereabouts. When Synergy tells him they are approaching Earth, the boy asks what's so important about the planet. She tells him about how Earth is special, and how he will find allies there.

After piloting their ship to narrowly avoid an enemy attack and an asteroid field, Synergy brings up a holographic display, full of beings from across the multiverse she's collected information on. Synergy then begins to recount who they are, and how they might figure in their mission. Stretch Armstrong is shown as a tech-enhanced superhero. M.A.S.K. is shown as an example of humans willing to fight to defend their fellow man. When the teen asks how another earthling shown to him, a singer, is going to help him, Synergy replies that she will help compose the "music of the spheres". The Action Man is shown next; however, Synergy can only present a theoretical image of him, as he is rarely seen in light or on film. She elaborates that the Action Man is very dangerous because all of the previous Action Men pass their knowledge down to their successors somehow; the last one "turned bad" and started going under the name "Dr. X", forcing the current Action Man to be activated "younger than intended." Synergy also has the boy look at the crew of the ISN Everest in their own part of space, and the teen is shown the world he came from- the world of the Micronauts. Another group of potential allies, Unit:E, Synergy can't even detect- their "Phase Station", "Skybolt" operates outside of time-space. The teen scoffs at his next possible associate, the fairy Princess Lolly. But Synergy tells him her kind aren't to be underestimated. She shows him the creatures of Primordia, and he asks if the fairies turned them into the monstrosities they now are. Synergy isn't sure, but warns that the Primordials might prove to be enemies, not allies. The teen isn't impressed with the assortment of beings they've collected data on; he thinks they're too frail and weak. But Synergy reminds him of his father's promise- to reclaim their world from Baron Karza- and these heroes are his only chance. Recalling once more his father's words, the boy dons the armor of Acroyear and proclaims: "We've got heroes to gather!"

  • The Transformers and G.I. Joe characters only appear as part of a splash page featuring multiple Hasbro franchises across the multiverse.
  • Celeste is the only Micronauts character shown who isn't based on a figure from the original Micronauts toyline.
