Skystrikers are aircraft from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Wow, Flint said all that?

As lethal as it is elegant, the Combat Jet XP-14F Skystriker—a modified version of the famous F-14 Tomcat—was the Joe team's first air combat vehicle and served alongside a host of would-be successors such as the Conquest X-30. The primary operator is Ace, although other Joes have been known to fly it on occasion.

After Power Station Alpha was hijacked, several Skystrikers—including one piloted by Ace—were among the units tasked with intercepting it. Part of the third and final San Diego Comic-Con crossover set, this Skystriker is a redeco and retool of the Skystriker mold previously used for Starscream. The biggest change to this variant is that it includes Jetfire's signature booster pack. The Jetfire Skystriker is part of the largest crossover set to date, which includes a Hound-decoed [{VAMP]], an Autobot-allied Snake-Eyes figure, a Baroness figure with Ravage on a leash, a Blaster boombox with cassette pieces representing Steeljaw, Ramhorn, and Eject, and a "samurai robot warrior" based on Bludgeon.
The box set was announced via a USA Today article on June 5, 2013, along with Hasbro's other Comic-Con exclusives.
