This is basically how Transformers toys get made, you know.

Guard (ガード Gādo) was once a planet not unlike Earth, but once the Decepticons took it over, they enslaved the population and heavily industrialized the world in order to build weapons.

Fiction

Victory comic

Deathsaurus took his son, Solon Kitakaze, to the planet Guard, where he presented the boy with "King Solon", a Transformer-sized battle mech. The Autobots got wind of the fact that the Decepticons were up to something on Guard, and Star Saber and Victory Leo flew to the planet, accompanied by Jean and Patty Minakaze. They were welcomed to the planet by Deathsaurus and Solon, who merged into King Zaras. Star Saber and Victory Leo responded by merging into Victory Saber.

The two titans clashed for three hours, evenly matched. Finally, Patty's words of encouragement to Victory Saber distracted Solon, allowing Victory Saber to use his "Victory Boomerang" attack to destroy King Solon. Deathsaurus and Solon fled the planet. Presumably the Autobots made sure the citizens of Guard were properly freed before leaving for Earth themselves. Mighty! Victory Saber
