This article is about the Autobot from Generations. For the Autobot from Generation 1, see Twin Twist.
Twintwist is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.
Calgon, take him away.

Twintwist is one of the last Transformers you'd expect to see fighting for the Autobots. He sometimes seems to be less an individual and more a metal box of seething rage. Maybe Optimus Prime is willing to give anyone a chance. Maybe Megatron has already turned him down. In any case, as much as his teammates hate having him around the base, where he is a bottomless well of antagonism, they love having him by their sides as they rush into battle, because even among the Wreckers, Twintwist is a pitiless killing machine.

He combines with several of the other Wreckers to form Ruination.

Twintwist, released as part of wave 4 of the 2012-onwards Generations Deluxe Class assortment under the Fall of Cybertron banner, is a redeco and retool of Decepticon Brawl from wave 2. Cast in gray-ish blue and charcoal gray plastic, with orange, gray and light blue paint operations, his alternate mode is a Cybertronian hover tank with a twin-barreled turret. Unlike most other Transformers toys with tank alternate modes, Twintwist sports no wheels whatsoever. In robot mode, he sports a new head sculpt based on Generation 1 Twin Twist.
Twintwist comes with both Brawl's rifle, which can be attached to the turret in tank mode (between the two cannon barrels) and thus serve as an additional weapon, and a brand new twin drill weapon, which can also be attached on top of the tank turret, and the rifle can be attached on top of the drill. In robot mode, Twintwist can hold both weapons (which feature 5mm posts as its handles) in either hand.
In addition to his robot and vehicle modes, Twintwist can also combine with his fellow Wreckers into Ruination and serve as any of the gestalt robot's four limbs, though his official configuration shown in the instructions is the left arm. The rifle he inherited from Brawl can be combined with the other Wreckers' weapons into a huge weapon for Ruination to wield.
