Johnny Douglas (June 19, 1920 - April 20, 2003) was an English composer and conductor who, along with Robert J. Walsh, created the background music for the original Generation 1 cartoon. Douglas is the only composer credited for the first five episodes of the series, despite the fact that Walsh also worked on the show at the time.
