Windblade is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Windblade is a fembot with a sword and Japanese motifs who turns into a jet.

Notes

  • Windblade is the first "fan-bult bot" ever. She's the result of various polls on Hasbro's official site to determine what character she'd be like. In addition to getting a toy, she'll also get a special IDW issue written for her. Naturally, she ended up being almost every trait of a stereotypical fancharacter rolled into one, although the stereotypical Japanese motifs were added by the designers rather than the fandom. Yep.
