Clean and Tidy have inter-related meanings and common connotations, but it is possible for something to be clean without being tidy. E.g. you could boil you underwear in an autoclave then toss it on the floor. They would then be clean but not tidy. Also tighty and whitey. -Derik 01:43, 29 July 2013 (EDT)
