Ursagryph

An ursagryph is a form of Cybertronian life in the Transformers Prime universe, assuming the Predacons of that continuity sprung up from native life on Cybertron or were such life, as the TV show gives allusions to. It is presumably a portmanteau of ursine (Latin for bear) and gryphon, making it a large metallic bear with wings that may shoot lasers out of its eyes. Grimwing (Prime) and Darksteel (Prime) are two known Transformers that use the ursagryph form.
