Talk:Spotlight: Grimlock

Ongoing?

From what I've read and heard of, the spotlight series are stand-alone stories with no real over arching story. But this seems to tie into what went on in Devistation or Spotlight: Shockwave. Of course this is all speculation because how it plays out in the comic is like flashbacks from his past. Oh, btw, has anyone seen the 5-page that was put out today (yesterday?) because it is pretty awesome.--AWT88 20:35, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

You don't need to read any of the other titles to get the story in a Spotlight. It's just that all the Spotlights do contain tie-ins to the overarching plot (though what those tie-ins mean isn't always obvious until a few issues later).--RosicrucianTalk 20:41, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Well, okay. Ya see, I haven't read all of the Spotlights personally, I've had a handfull (Shockwave's was the first), but that was a while back, and it's been more than a few since that one.AWT88 20:52, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
The spotlights are written as stand alones that tie in to the main continuity or earlier spotlights. Eg, Ultra Magnus ties into the machination, and Spotlight Arcee. Grimlock ties into Shockwave and Devastation etc User:GWolfv2

Anyone notice the jurassic park logo on the back of the Jeep when Grimlock runs through the streets? Referance maybe? Any way on the spotlight convo I've read a bunch of spotlight and a lot of them actually do connect to main story arc, plus some are just awesome like Kup or Arcee.
