Soundwave was playing cards with Megatron and Starscream when Predaking attacked. He was upgraded using Ironhide's torso and some other parts thanks to Megatron and his Construct-Bots terminal. He cringed when Megatron slipped and fell on some gumballs. Construct-Bot Lab

Part of Construct-Bots Wave 1 Elites, Soundwave can transform into a jet vaguely resembling his Unicron Trilogy incarnation.

He is armed with 2 shoulder cannons, which become engines in jet mode.

He has a paint error, with his shoulder gun-thing parts unpainted blue instead of gold as depicted in his concept art and instructions.
