When Alexander Porter was showing NEST around Hyperdynamix Aerospace, Lyons put through a call to HODDIS as part of the briefing.

During the attack on a NEST convoy on Highway 99, Lyons used observation drones to find out what was happening and report back to Porter. The installation was attacked by Reverb during the buildup to the launch of two RLVs, and Lyons had to get everyone into a safe room before the rocket launched. When it turned out that the satellite they'd just launched was going to broadcast a signal that would wipe out all Autobots and Decepticons on the planet, Lyons talked Kevin Bowman through disabling the satellite and piloting an RLV back to Earth.
