- Frank is a human from the Victory cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Frank (フランク Furanku) works as a foreman in the hi-tech Neo Uranium Mine. Although his hard hat isn't yellow, he's still helpful to Autobots. He has a wife and son, with whom he lives in an apartment block near the mine.

As he left for work on his son's birthday, little did Frank know that the uranium mine would come under attack by the Decepticons. However, it did, and he put out a call to the Autobots for assistance. His subordinate soon reported that the mine's ventilation system had broken down, endangering the lives of the miners whom the Decepticons had taken hostage. They also detected the approach of Laster, Braver and Wingwaver, and realised that the Autobots wouldn't be able to get through the bedrock. Frank decided to take some explosives to help them out.
During his ride down the mine in a mine car, Frank encountered Leozack, belting the Decepticon on the head with a sledgehammer. Leozack attempted to return the favor with laser fire, but missed completely. Frank arrived safely at the location where the three Autobots were trying to break through, warning them he was about to used explosives. He was able to blow a hole in the bedrock, allowing the Autobots to enter the mine, free the hostages and fight the Decepticons. Infiltration... The Uranium Mine
