Do we really have a panty shot of an adolescent girl as the primary image of a featured article? -hx 10:11, 22 October 2013 (EDT)

Dear god I never noticed that. Eww. I concur that this perhaps needs changing. Jalaguy 10:30, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
I'm not crazy about the style, but it is a nice piece of art insofar as it includes both the human and the transtector, and it's not just a model sheet from a magazine. That being said, maybe it can be cropped higher for underwear reasons? -LV 10:43, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
Just tried cropping it, and it's not possible to keep the robot's fingers intact without the human's undies peeking out a bit. --Inkblot 10:49, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
Apparently this talk was already had on the article talk page, and the consensus was "It's creepy, but it's the best art we have." I would suggest altering the image caption to that effect. I feel like Chris Hansen is going to show up at my door for looking at that thing. -hx 10:55, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
Are we really that concerned with keeping the robot's fingers in the frame? She's already missing her legs and right arm, a few phalanges more or less isn't going to matter. If that is the only objection, I say go ahead and crop it. --Khajidha 11:47, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
It is pretty hard to crop aesthetically. The panties don't offend me enough to want to go crazy about it. It's far from the worst thing on the wiki anyway (thanks KP!). -LV 12:20, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
It's less that and more that this is the primary image for a fairly significant character. But you know, whatever. Slap a "this is the single best image of this character we could find - holy shit japan" caption on it and I'm probably okay. -hx 13:06, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
