Fucking up the characters categories
Cut it out! --ItsWalky 19:40, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Megatron (BW)
Hey, Interrobang, you've written the entire Beast Wars fiction section in present tense. It should be in past tense. Couldja please fix it? --ItsWalky 04:04, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Sorry if I wasn't aware of this, but has there been a discussion about making a "series Character" category and putting all the characters into it? Also, the Classics category does not belong in the Generation 1 category. The Classics Mini-cons aren't from G1, nor is Leo Prime. --FortMax 17:07, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Every new iteration of G1 has added unique characters. In DreamwaveG1, we got the Fallen, Gravitas and the other ancients, Backbite and his assassin team, etc. The IDW comics have given us a bunch of new humans and even a named spaceship. Classics is likewise a G1 continuity because of its core cast and overall theme. - Jackpot
- I think I read in some report out of BotCon that the Classics Mini-Cons are going to be considered part of a G1 universe. Can anyone confirm that? --KilMichaelMcC 17:58, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- I can. Forrest Lee stated the Classics Mini-Cons ARE, fictionally, part of the Classics "neo-G1" universe. Which I wholeheartedly approve of. --M Sipher 19:15, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- My first reaction was, "WHAT fiction?" But then it occurred to me that the Classics line has already seeped into the IDW-G1 universe via Jetfire. How much crossover can happen before we consider them one and the same (well, as one-and-the-same as, say, DW-Energon and the Energon toys)?
- Doubt that'll happen. At the fan club magazine panel, Forest Lee said that next year's fan club newsletter comic storyline was probably going to use the Classics in a post-Marvel Comics universe. --ItsWalky 19:35, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

- Serious? Oh, rock on. - Jackpot 20:10, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I wonder how that'll square with their apparent plan to keep annually releasing the clear Energon combiner figures. Maybe those characters will jump out of the UT dimension and into the Marvel comic universe? - Jackpot 21:57, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- They will. Skyfall and Landquake will be taking center stage, and presumably combiner #3 will have ended up in G1-land, #4 in post-movie-land, etc. Also, Unicron is now a focal point of the comic too, so there you go. --M Sipher 22:15, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
RE: Packrat, Fractyl, etc.: At what point does "speculation" become unsuitable for this Wiki when we're dealing with a storyline that can't be explained without severe untangling and hole-filling? Is it a matter of phrasing or italicizing? The bits you deleted weren't random, Neale-style "apocrypha." Those characters are on the outskirts of a major time-travel storyline that ends with an entire timeline being negated, canonically. And there are good reasons to think that their BW adventures went "poof" along with the rest. (See Derik and my discussion on Vice Grip.) No, it's not a NECESSARY conclusion, nor did I suggest that it was. But it's a strong enough possibility that I think we do the Wiki a disservice if it's not mentioned. - Jackpot 08:36, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, but you could have said it in under 20 words. And your time-altering explanation doesnt' fit the sequence of events. And... this is really more appropriate as a general entry on the main 3h Fiction page, nothign that their 'extra characters' fit badly aroudn the edges of the universe. -Derik 08:49, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
The french version of firefox is not that helpfull on that matter. Sorry, I'll try to be more carefuul.

Sorry, I think I accidentally picked that up from whoever's line I edited on the Floro page. I'll go catch them all.--MCRG 04:35, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

"Reverted on general principle"
The guy's being obnoxious, but his edit has merit. I think he's just a little too young. I undid your edit in the process of trying to clean up the matter. --Sntint 07:49, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Keywords
Please don't orphan pages by deleting sections you find aesthetically displeasing.
If you want to remove those sections then, at minimum, it falls to you to to link those orphaned articles up. -Derik 18:21, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Personal attacks in edit summaries
"Are you sure you don't have Asperger's?"
That was REALLY uncalled-for. --TVsGrady 23:22, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Comic article titles
I wish you would wait on moving a bunch of comic issue articles until we come to a desicion about what scheme to go with site-wide. It's being slowly discussed on the community portal. I agree that we should be consistent, but I do not like the parantheses scheme you are moving things to. --Steve-o 19:10, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Beast Wars timeline
Hello, I've start a article here by using some temporary file I write before, maybe you can help with that! ;D --TX55 04:47, 05 November 2007 (UTC)
Graphy
Why would you capitalize the name of a dinosaur type? We don't capitalize the names of other animals in mid-sentence. (Okay, except weird ones that involve people's names, like a Thompson's gazelle, but still...)--Apcog 23:24, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Popular alt-modes
Yeah, I honestly made that edit (Overkill) expecting it would get reverted. For some reason I considered that the best method by which to point out what seemed to be the confusion. The anon seemed unaware of the Classics version from the customizing class, so his stance seemed to be based solely around the tape body. So I thought I'd point out the confusion.
Maybe we *should* specify bodies on the list, though, given this confusion? It may or may not be practical, and it also may or may not even be warranted. This is only the first time there's been a mistake, to my knowledge, so I'm not really going to push the issue hard. --Sntint 18:17, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I dunno. We could do that if it came down to it, but so far, it's just one anon. If it's a recurring problem with other people, that's an option. Interrobang 18:22, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Quotes
Uh, not to make all your work seem useless, but wouldn't it just be easier to have the quotation marks appear within the template and get it down with all at once rather than do it one article at a time? -- SFH 00:42, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think I've noted him inserting italics formatting here and there, so the quotes aren't 100% universal to the needs of the template.--Apcog 01:13, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Category changes
Hey, Interrobang -- I wish you wouldn't make such sweeping category changes without posting a notice to the relevant talk page first, just to double-check things. For example, the discussion in Category talk:Siblings sort of went in a "let's have a general category for all relatives" direction without quite reaching consensus. Now that the siblings category is empty, it will be a lot more work to fill up a "has relatives" category if/when we make one, because we'll have to "rediscover" all the sibling articles. --Steve-o 21:59, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the discussion had been lingering around for 19 months. I assumed nobody particularly cared about the thing anymore. If you need the sibling articles, you can just look in my "User contributions". My editing sprees are mostly unbroken. —‽ 00:44, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
your fucked up signature
Could you change your signature so it actually includes your user name? I like being able to see who made a comment without having to see the destination of the link.
Either way, I shall now call you "The Editor Formerly Known As Interrobang" --FortMax 00:55, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- No problem! —"‽" is an Interrobang 01:37, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- way to not know an interrobang when you see one. -hx 12:55, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- The Japanese must never learn of this. - Chris McFeely 17:37, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- It does have the feeling of something the Japanese would latch on to without realizing it's barely known in English, doesn't it? (Though strange Hydra kept removing interrobangs when I put them in his article titles...) -Derik 22:12, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

I like "‽," it's all clever 'n stuff. Does it work on macs? A lot of extended character-set stuff doesn't. (You could use for a mouseover- but I suspect some users just want it to be readable.) -Derik 22:12, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
It does work on a Mac but that does not take away from the total uselessness of the name... it didn't work for Prince and it doesn't work here either Gspro15198 23:25, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
