Founded in 1977 by writer and producer Spencer Proffer, the Pasha Music Organization was intended to "develop and produce multi dimensional [sic] recording artists and performers." Among their artists were Quiet Riot, Billy Thorpe, and Kick Axe.

Although Pasha produced the artists, CBS Records manufactured and distributed the actual recordings. As a result, Pasha releases were copyrighted "Pasha / CBS Records".
