Minamoto no Yoshitsune approached Benkei Musashibō as Benkei was grieving over the disappearance of Isami, who Benkei thought was savior that had been prophesied to him. Showdown! Benkei Musashibō!
Notes
- "no" is a particle meaning "belonging to". Japanese names are written with the family name first, so "Minamoto no Yoshitsune" actually means something like "Yoshitsune of the Minamoto" ("Minamoto" is his family name, "Yoshitsune" is his given name). While the wiki usually parses Japanese names in the English naming order (given name followed by family name), Minamoto no Yoshitsune's name is left in its original order in a nod to tradition, and out of confusion about what to do about that pesky "no".
